"OUTSIDE IN"
by Jerry Stamatelos

They had known each other for a year. Strictly friends. Really. No sex or anything like that.

She wailed and thrashed inwardly, until one Thursday when she asked him to a friend’s restaurant opening.

After three months of dating, she became stunning.

Jerry Stamatelos shapes young minds in Montreal. When he's not witnessing wide-eyed idealism in the classroom these days, he's busy working on his PhD thesis about Joseph Conrad. Flash fiction is a healhty preoccupation -- for now. We ran "The Wedding Gift" the other day.
